Between green and orange

Panama City

For MatadorU and Adventure Center, I spent several days in Panama City. My trip was about to end when I decided to stick around some more, as I liked how the city grew on me. Sometimes it feels great to just aimlessly wander and observe my surroundings; not needing to go to a certain place at a specific time.

All of a sudden this huge Nikon billboard – referring to a shop – loomed over me. Wanting to capture it, I walked around it a bit looking for angles, but couldn’t satisfy my senses so I went hunting for the actual shop instead.

I couldn’t find it, even after asking numerous shopkeepers in the vicinity, so I gave up and started to look for new things on the street. When I looked back once more, this yellow scene materialized in front of my eyes.

Hi Coen, I like what you found appealing about this shot – all the yellow pops. I feel that the photo needs some movement though, just to show how chaotic it seems to have been? The sign on the right, in the foreground, is distracting to me however it is a street scene so I appreciate the reality projected.

    Hi Coen
I like this shot. I don’t know if there is a way that you could have made the yellow pop even more.
When i looked at the photo i thought rule of thirds – I think that it is a good example.
